"I can say without reservation that Sarah is among the best translators I’ve known in my 30 years as an international journalist and author. Sarah’s linguistic skills are superb ... She has the speed and mental nimbleness to be an excellent simultaneous translator, yet she also possesses the intelligence, thoughtfulness and tact necessary for translating lengthy and delicate conversations in which nuance, inflection and precision are particularly crucial. [...] And she possesses a personal warmth, affability and good-natured charm that make the experience pleasant for all participants in the conversation."

Testimonials

‘Working with Sarah was a total delight from beginning to end. [...] it’s not only Sarah’s lovely nature or even her expertise with language that makes her such a successful translator, it’s her nuanced understanding of the different cultural reference points and explaining those on each side, every time, with patience.’

- Jessica Fellowes, writer

"When you watch Sarah Cuminetti at work, you realize that there is so much more to her job than a simple translation. 'Interpreting' means translating words, but also and more to the point, conveying emotions and feelings, in a different language. In this sense, Sarah has no equal."

- Arturo Varvelli,

Head, ECFR Rome
